Marc also teaches Hatha Yoga inspired by the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. 

He holds an Active IQ level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga and is a level 3 member of REPs. He is currently continuing his studies in this tradition by undertaking a further Teacher Training program with the TSYP.


Marc is an ex-sprinter and bodybuilder and remains a keen cyclist and scuba diver.  He's a former singer in a heavy metal band and his dulcet tones can often be heard at our local parkrun where he volunteers as a marshal when he can.   

Our classes


Our Cheltenham, Charlton Kings and Bishop's Cleeve Yoga classes offer students exercises to build flexibility and strength in the body, develop their breath awareness and promote relaxation.  We believe that students should enjoy their practice and you'll find that our classes are as quirky, relaxed and fun as we are!  We are practical, down to earth and what you see is what you get!  Good, old school Yoga with no gimmicks, delivered by knowledgeable teachers who are prepared to treat their students as individuals so that they can practise safely and with confidence.
  
For students who are unable to attend a regular Yoga class or who are looking to deepen their practice or work on specific issues, there is also the option of one to one or private group Yoga classes.

Our group Yoga classes are suitable for all levels of experience and you will always be encouraged to work in a way that is right for you and your body.  In Yoga, increased flexibility is a great side effect but not a pre-requisite!​

Bookings policies

Please make sure that you are happy with our policies before you make your booking.

For group class term bookings

   - Group class term bookings are always non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.
   - Any group class bookings not cancelled at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled class start time will be forfeited.
   - If we are notified that you wish to cancel your booked space in a group class at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled start            time for the class it MAY be possible to make the session up at a different class in the same term. However, this is subject to      space and cannot be guaranteed.
   - Any classes not used by the end of the term cannot be carried forward to future terms and will be forfeited.

For drop in bookings

   - All drop in bookings are final. They are non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.

For workshops

   - All workshop bookings are final. They are non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.
 
Yoga weekends and events

   - The cancellation policy applicable to Yoga Weekend and event bookings will be as set out on our booking form for that                weekend/event.  If you have not already received a copy of this form, please ask us for one and make sure that you are happy      with its terms before making your booking.
 
1-2-1 Appointments
 
   - 1-2-1 appointment fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.
   - If you wish to alter your appointment and can give us 24 hours notice the session may be rebooked at a different time and/or      date subject to availability. 
   - If you give less than 24 hours notice of your cancellation, the appointment will be forfeited and you will be charged the full            cost of your appointment.

About your Yoga teachers
Kate









Kate teaches Hatha Yoga inspired by the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar as she believes that this approach allows everyone to get the most benefit from their Yoga practice. 


Kate is an experienced teacher with over 1,250 hours of formal training to draw on.

She holds the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Teaching Diploma and is currently the BWY's Gloucestershire area rep.

She has continued her studies in this tradition and has an advanced accredited teaching diploma from the BWY for her completion of the Yoga Journey course with the Society of Yoga practitioners (TSYP).

Kate is an experienced Introductory Course Tutor for the TSYP and a BWY Foundation Course Tutor.

She is an accredited TSYP and AYS Yoga teacher and registered with the CNHC as a Yoga Therapist.  She is continuing her Yoga Therapy studies via Svastha Yoga and Ayurveda.

Kate is also qualified to teach the Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs 12 week course, a self help, lifelong toolkit designed to improve your back's health.

Kate has also completed the Teaching Yoga for People with ME and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome course with Fiona Agomba. 


She is currently completing the BWY's first Gentle Years Yoga training programme and will be offering these specialist classes later in the year.


When she's not on the mat, Kate's a keen runner and visits Cheltenham's parkrun as often as her diary allows!  She also indulges in a spot of parkrun tourism whenever the opportunity arises!  She hopes that she will finally acquire her 100 T-shirt this year! 


She also loves to scuba dive and can regularly be found somewhere near the bottom of a local quarry if warmer water isn't close by! While she is fascinated by sharks and rays she can still keep herself amused by watching pike and freshwater crayfish when the need arises!
