What should I wear to a yoga class?
Wear clothing that you find comfortable to move in and allows you to stretch. Layers can be helpful so that you can remove them as you warm up through the practice.
Most of the yoga practice takes place in bare feet but a pair of socks can be useful if you tend to chill down during the relaxation session.
What do I need to bring?
Yoga is usually practiced on non-slip mats. If you don't have your own yet, we do have some spares available. However most people prefer to bring their own. If you would like to purchase a mat we do have a selection available.
You may also want to bring a blanket for use during the relaxation session or to provide additional padding during the practice.
What if I have a medical condition?
Be sure to tell your teacher if you have a medical condition before you start your yoga class. They will then be able to adapt the practice to suit your personal needs.
Don't forget..
It is not advisable to exercise for at least 2 hours after you have eaten.
