Harnessing the power of the breath
An introduction to working with pranayama for better health
For our March workshop we'll introduce you to the ways in which we can harness the power of the breath through the practice of pranayama.
We'll take an overview of traditional yoga concepts related to pranayama including Prana, nadis and koshas. We'll then explore how we can use these concepts in our own Yoga practice to both deepen our experience and enhance our sense of well-being. We'll experiment with a variety of techniques so that you leave with an appreciation of how a pranayama practice can be effectively tailored to suit individual needs.
The workshop will be suitable for all levels.
